The Manor School Annual Poetry Competition will be held on Thursday 9th February 2012 at 7pm.

Christmas Productions
In keeping with our learning theme of 'Good Knight Sweet 'Art' about knights, castles, myths and legends, the Christmas Productions this year all had a medieval theme.
Reception class performed the traditional nativity play, Key Stage 1 performed 'Stargazers' and Key Stage 2 performed 'Christmas in Camelot'.
The staff and children put a huge amount of effort into what were very polished and professional productions on the night!
.Christmas Carol Service
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
The weather was kind to us so we were able to celebrate our Christmas Carol service at St Michaels and All Angels. Well done to all the children who took part in the service and to the staff who made the service such a festive occasion.
Christmas Fair
The Christmas Fair was held on Tuesday 13th December and the event was opened by none other than King Arthur. (King Arthur is now very well acquainted with our children after meeting them at Farleigh Hungerford and Nunney castles in September and his visit to school on Monday of this week!).
Thank you to The Friends of The Manor and all the staff who helped make the event such a memorable occasion.
Carol Singing
This week local shoppers have been entertained by children and staff of The Manor School with a selection of traditional songs and carols.
On Monday, shoppers at ASDA Melksham were treated to the delightful singing of the choir. Tuesday found the choir at Sainsburys Melksham and finally on Wednesday, our staff and children were joined by members of staff at Waitrose Melksham.
